DPNR's Energy Office Seeks Vendors for Rebate Program

Nov. 1, 2007 – The Virgin Islands Energy Office (VIEO) is looking for businesses offering energy efficient and renewable energy technology products and Energy Star appliances to become VIEO certified rebate dealers for the Dec. 1, 2007 to Sept. 30, 2008 cycle, according to a press release from the Department of Planning and Natural Resources.
Products that the V.I. Energy Office gives rebates on include: photovoltaic panels, solar water heaters, wind turbine generators, sine wave inverters and electric water heater timer
Energy Star appliances: compact fluorescent light bulbs, room air-conditioners, ceiling fans, clothes washers and refrigerators.
