Oct. 23, 2007 – A breast cancer forum will be held from noon to 7 p.m., on Wednesday, Oct. 24, in the lobby of the Charlotte Kimelman Cancer Institute. The schedule is as follows:
Noon-1 p.m. Lecture Breast Cancer Prevention and Treatment, (Dr. Rabin Bachan)
12:45-1:30 p.m. Breast Cancer Survivor's Testimonials (Conference Room)
1:30- 4:30 p.m. Tour of the Positive Appearance Boutique (Ms. Phillip)
1:30- 5 p.m. Schedule Mammograms (Ms. Harris)
1:30- 5 p.m. Clinical Breast Examinations (Dr. Williamson)
1-5 p.m. Support Representatives' Tables, which include: American Cancer Society, VI Cancer Support Group, CKCI Cancer Support (Ms. Smith), Department of Health, and Department of Human Services (senior citizen).
2-7 p.m. Breakout Sessions for Prevention
Blood Pressure Check (Nurse)
Make-overs at the Boutique (D. Phillip)
Breast Self-Examinations Training
Nutrition (Dr. Grant)
5:30- 7 p.m. CKCI Support Group Speaker- Head of ACS
