Mr. Browne, Thank You for the Invite

Dear Source:
Mr. Browne: Thank you for the invitation to visit your school. Once I am over a current cold, which I do not wish to share with the children, I will make the time to visit. I am aware that much has been and still is in the process of being done for the school buildings. I work in the construction field and have been hearing about it. It is unfortunate that parental participation and support is a major missing ingredient. It is the most important ingredient for children's success both academically and socially. I believe not only parents but grandparents, uncles, aunts, other family members, friends all should support the children. By not being there, they miss the light that shines in a child's eye when they see those they know present at any event or in their classrooms. Children need that interested person to run home to and tell all about their day and what is going on with them. All of it makes a huge difference. Even though I do not have a child in school anymore. I have still been present in a number of schools for children with whom I have associations with. One day I do have grandchildren who will be entering this school system. I will be there then as a grandparent too.
Look forward to meeting you and visiting your school.
