Brief: Welcome-Home Ceremonies for Iraq Troops Airing on Government Access Channels

Oct. 22, 2007 — The Government Access Channels will air the welcome-home ceremonies for the 786th Quartermaster Battalion of the V.I. National Guard at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
The ceremonies were held Sunday on St. Thomas and St. Croix as the community turned out to welcome the troops back to the territory following their deployment in Iraq. The St. Thomas ceremony can be viewed on St. Thomas-St. John Innovative Cable TV Channel 10, while the St. Croix ceremony can be viewed on St. Croix Innovative Cable TV Channel 6, according to a Government House news release.
