Oct. 16, 2007 – Luis Ortiz Rosa died on Oct. 8, at Charleston Nursing Center.
He is survived by his wife, Carmen Ortiz; daughter, Minerva Ortiz; sons: Hector Luis, Rafael, Arturo and Andrés Ortiz; grandchildren: Hector Luis Jr., Elisita, Sharito, Joel, Minelly, Luis Manuel, Lina Marr, Jenny, David, Justin, Zeth and Autumn Lee; and seven great grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters: Idalia Ortiz, Inocencia García and María Santos; brothers: Inocencio, Eleuterio, Carlos and Jorge Torres; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held from 10-11 a.m., on Tuesday, Oct. 16, at Iglesia de Dios Pentecostal, M.I., Siloe Yellow Cedar, Frederiksted. It will be followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m., at the church. Interment will be in the Kingshill Cemetery.
