James Otis Brewster Dead at 89

Oct. 11, 2007 – James Otis Brewster of Anna's Hope died on Oct 5, at his residence. He was 89 years old.
He is survived by his ex-wife, Ann Drummond-Brewster; daughter, Gwendolyn E. Brewster; stepdaughter, Sherrill Richardson; sons: James Jr., Curtis, Maxwell, Kenneth, and Raymond Brewster, and Alfred Gardner; granddaughter/caretaker, Anna E. Brewster; grandson/caretaker, David Allen; 37 grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; 11 step great grandchildren, as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
Persons attending the service are asked to please wear festive colors.
The body of James Otis Brewster will lie in state at the American Legion Post 85 from 8:30-9:30 a.m., on Wednesday, Oct. 17. Immediately following, the body will be taken to the Kingshill Cemetery Chapel with a viewing at 10:15 a.m., and a funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Veteran Section of the Kingshill Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to James Memorial Funeral Home Inc.
