St. John Coalition Will Meet on Tuesday

Oct. 5, 2007 – The St. John Coalition is having a general public meeting at 7:30 p.m., on Tuesday, Oct. 9, at the St. Ursala's Multipurpose Center in Cruz Bay. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss current development and planning issues on St. John, recent DPNR decisions, and the appropriate agenda and vision for the future. Everyone is invited to participate.
The mission, activities, and steering committee membership will also be reviewed. More information is available from stjohncoalition@hotmail.com.

St. John Coalition Mission Statement:
The St. John Coalition will, in consultation and collaboration with members and representatives of the many and diverse stakeholders in the community
(a) Build grassroots community consensus on a vision of St. John's future built environment
(b) Analyze and educate the public on issues that will affect quality of life in this built environment and
(c) Influence planning and construction policy, practice, and enforcement decisions so as to prevent any adverse impacts that continuing changes in the built environment will have on our community and its quality of life.
