Oct. 4, 2007 – The West Indian Company Ltd. will host the next St. Thomas-St. John Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours from 5:30-7:30 p.m., on Friday, Oct. 12, at UVI Sports and Fitness Center.
Members, guests and potential members are invited to attend. There will be complimentary hors d'oeuvres, door prizes and The Famous Chamber $2 Bar.
WICO is port agent for all cruise lines whose vessels call at St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. In this capacity, it responds to the needs and requirements of visiting cruise ships while in port. Duties include collecting baggage at the airport for delivery to vessels, transporting sick passengers and crew members to hospital, physicians and medical facilities, accompanying passengers and crew members to the United States Customs Service office and to the office of Immigration and Naturalization Service for processing and arrange hotel accommodations for passengers who arrive at the dock after the ship's departure.
