Wyatt Heat Continues Unbeaten Streak

Oct. 1, 2007 — Wyatt Heat remains the only unbeaten team in the Hovensa softball league after crushing the Cartel 17-2 in the first of three games.
Wyatt Heat had 17 runs on 10 hits with one error, while the Cartel had two runs on four hits with six errors. Robert Todman was the winning pitcher, while Samuel Ramos got the loss. Top hitters for the Heat were Martin Charles, 3 for 4 with a home run and four RBIs; and Dexter Desousa, 3 for 4 with a home run and two RBIs. For the Cartel, Wade Roserie went 1 for 2 with a home run and two RBIs.
In game two, Code 9 forfeited to Softball Inc.
In Game three, Cross Tech edges the Sun 7-6. Cross Tech had seven runs on 12 hits and two errors, while the Suns had six runs on 13 hits while committing three errors.
Bill Harris got the win on the hill for Cross Tech, while Dale Harris picked up the loss for the Suns. Top hitters for Cross Tech were Neal Davis and Harris, both 2 for 3 with two RBIs. For the Suns, Leandro Reyes went 2 for 3 with a home run and two RBIs, while Patrick Northrop went 2 for 3 with one RBI.
