Sept. 27, 2007 – Charles Richards died on Sunday, Sept. 16, at age 83.
He is survived by his wife, Viola Richards; son, Devon E. Richards; daughter-in-law, Maveita Richards; stepchildren: Cynthia Charles, Velma Athill, Connie Jacobs, Dalsie Waldron, Lionel Waldron, Edwin Jacobs, Norma Mohammed and Avonnel Thomas; and 28 grandchildren. He is also survived by brothers: George and Theodore Richards; sisters: Daphne Harvey, Juanita Martinez, Claudina Barnard, Eugenie Hanson, Maudelin Sackey and Ernestine Brooks, as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place from 10-11 a.m., on Thursday, Oct. 4, at the James Memorial Funeral Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m., at the chapel. Interment will be at the Kingshill Cemetery.
