UVICELL Offers Basic Web Design Course

Sept. 27, 2007 – The University of the Virgin Islands' Community Engagement and Lifelong Learning (UVICELL) Center will be offering a course called Basic Web Design for those who are interested in learning to create a Web site from start to finish. Classes will be held 6-8 p.m., on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from Oct. 16 to Nov. 13. Sessions will be held at the UVICELL Center on the St. Thomas campus.
Students will learn how to organize information and professionally structure a site; add content, images, styles and multimedia for visual impact; edit and publish a site, and much more. Interested individuals are urged to register by Monday, Oct. 8.
