Montessori Music Fest Coming up Saturday

Sept. 26, 2007 — The fourth annual V.I. Montessori Music Fest is coming up from 3 to 10 p.m. Saturday on the school soccer field.
The festival will feature award-winning fiddle player David Algeo Smith, who will also offer a fiddle seminar; Jamaican reggae star Mr. Mention, backed by the AhWee Band from St. John; Shoot For Tuesday, a popular band from St. John; KoKo and the Sunshine Band; the St. John Quelbe Band; Jason and the Guitargonots, with Paul Cater Deaton on drums; the Barefoot Davis Band with Danny Silber and Morgan Waylin; Sally Smith and jazz friends; Nicky Russell and Janet; the folk sounds of G; and Webb from Buzz Radio.
Food at the festival will include barbecue, tacos, a veggie booth, pizza, salads, burgers and hot dogs, snow cones and sweets. Libations will include Foster's keg beer, margaritas and wine.
