Kean Students Reminded of Upcoming PSAT

Sept. 27, 2007 – The Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT) will be administered on Wednesday, Oct. 17, for Ivanna Eudora Kean High School students in grades 10 and 11, according to Guidance Counselor Annette Bertrand. “All sophomores and juniors who plan to go to college are reminded of the upcoming test administration and are encouraged to take the PSAT,” Bertrand.
The test will begin at 9 a.m., at the Bertha C. Boschulte Middle School auditorium. The deadline to register is Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2007. A fee of $20 will be charged for sitting the test.
Bertrand said, “The PSAT is a practice test for the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT), which is a required assessment for seniors who wish to attend colleges and universities. I urge all eligible students to make an appointment with their respective guidance counselor, sign up and take this test as many times as allowed in preparation of sitting the SAT.”
