V.I. Energy Office to Show Film on Alternatives
The Virgin Islands Energy Office is marking Energy Awareness Month in October by showing a film on alternative clean energy sources. The national theme is Clean and Green: For a Secure Energy Future.
At the University of the Virgin Islands, St. Thomas, at 7 p.m., on Saturday, Oct. 6, there will be a showing of a "Nova" film, "Saved by the Sun," which emphasizes how solar energy is becoming the economical alternative to fighting global warming.
