Dear Source:
Although I am in agreement with the argument that a hand-held cell phone in the hands of a driver constitutes a danger, I cannot agree that hands-free cell phone usage is significantly more distracting than conversation with another passenger or any of the other 'accepted' activities that typically go on within the vehicle itself. Should not drivers also be prohibited from speaking or listening to other passengers, from carrying children and pets, from listening to the radio or their iPod?
