Rita King James Dies at 61

Sept. 18, 2007 – Rita King James of Campo Rico, also known as "Scholar," died on Sept. 13, at the Juan Luis Hospital. She was 61 years old.
She is survived by her daughter, Janice Scholar Charles; grandson, Jareem Charles; granddaughter, Jareema Perdereaux; sisters: Marion Plante, Dolores Crichlow and Christinta Benjamin; and brother, Joseph King Jr. She is also survived by brother-in-law, Joseph Plante; son-in-law, Maxwell Perdereaux; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held from 10-11 a.m., on Friday, Sept. 28, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m., at the church. Internment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to James Memorial Funeral Home Inc.
