E.A.S.T. Seeks Volunteers for the 22nd International Coastal Cleanup

Sept. 18, 2007 – The Environmental Association of St. Thomas/St. John will be hosting a beach cleanup of Brewer's Bay beginning at 8:30 a.m., on Sunday, Sept. 23, at the Old Xanadu Beach Club. It's part of an international effort to clean up the coastlines and collect data on marine debris.
Bring comfortable clothes and shoes, sunscreen and/or a hat, gloves and plenty of water. E.A.S.T. will provide garbage bags, data cards and pencils. Brewer's Bay is littered with marine debris and the organization needs your help to clean it! Join E.A.S.T. and be part of the solution.
For more information, contact Dalma Simon, E.A.S.T. activities chair, at 774-1837.
