Samuel A. Moore Dead at 74

Sept. 13, 2007 – Samuel A. Moore of Estate St. Georges died on Sept. 8, at the Gov. Juan Luis Hospital. Mr. Moore was well known, loved and respected in this community.
He is survived by his daughters: Doretta Abbott, Candy Beverly Moore and Margaret V.P. Moore; son, George H. Moore; adopted son, Ricky S. Benjamin; grandchildren: Craig Michael, Mekilya, Malaika, and Kemo Benjamin, Mekisha Abbott, Adrian Henry, Esther, Sherisse and Melba Moore; and five great-grandchildren. He is also survived by brother, Waygand Moore; aunt, Vierda Vigo, as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held from 9:30-10:30 a.m., Friday, Sept. 21, at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Barrenspot, followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m., at the church. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
Cheerful attire is required; in lieu of flowers, mourners are asked to make donations to St. Ann's Catholic Church.
Arrangements are entrusted to James Memorial Funeral Home Inc.
