What's Up Next on the Doug Lewis Show

Sept. 11, 2007 – Tune into the Doug Lewis Show on WVGN 107.3 FM from 1 to 3 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 16. This Sunday we will feature music by George Benson, Al Jarreau, De Sol, Teddy Thompson, Elizabeth Cook, Bob Dylan, David Algeo Smith and more.
The Modern Music Feature CD is "Givin' It Up," a collaborative release from George Benson and Al Jarreau. The two jazz-pop masters get help from guest artists such as Paul McCartney and Jill Scott. George Benson will be appearing Nov. 17, at the Reichhold Center on St. Thomas.
The Indie Spotlight CD is "On My Way" by a new group called De Sol. The group adds a touch of Latin influence to their roots-rock sound.
We play new music from Roger McGuinn, Teddy Thompson, Lori McKenna, Elizabeth Cook, Robert Randolph and more.
We include music from Ziggy Marley, Bob Dylan, Sara Hickman, Sam Cooke, Blue Highway and more.
We celebrate the birthdays of B.B. King and blues prodigy Jimmy Bowskill.

We also include music from fiddler David Algeo Smith, who will be performing at the Montessori Musicfest on Sept. 29, and music from Henry Butler, who will be playing at a jazz festival on St. Croix in November.
Doug Lewis Show is underwritten by Hook, Line and Sinker; Molly Molones; and St. Thomas Radiology Associates.
