Juan R. Felix Dies at 37

Aug. 28, 2007 – Juan R. Felix, also known as "Priest Banton" or "Papa Black" died on Aug. 18, in Orlando, Florida. He was 37 years old.
He is survived by his mother, Estelle Torres Felix; father, Juan R. Felix Sr.; wife, Vernicher Nicholas Felix; daughters: Laticia, Sherina, Sheliera, Tamisha, Monet and Zariah Felix; and sons: Jamil, Kishawn, Asha, Nicholas, Teqwan, Tasheem and Tafari Felix. He is also survived by sisters: Elizabeth, Tacia and Isabel Felix; brothers: Ricardo and Mario Felix; grandparents: Maria Aurora Encarnacion, Juan B. Felix and Henry Venzen; and many other family and friends too numerous to mention.
The family requests that attendees wear all white or pastel colors.
A viewing will be held from 3-5 p.m., on Thursday, Aug. 30, at the James Memorial Chapel. There will be a second viewing held at 10 a.m., at the chapel on Friday, Aug. 31, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m., at the James Memorial Chapel, La Grande Princesse. Interment will be at the Kingshill Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to James Memorial Funeral Home Inc.
