What's Up Next on the Doug Lewis Show

Aug. 15, 2007 – Tune into the Doug Lewis Show on WVGN 107.3 FM from 1 to 3 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 19. This Sunday we will feature music by the Coors, Doug Spartz and Friends, Mavis Staples, Sinead O'Connor, Tom Rush and more.
The Modern Music Feature CD is "Dreams" by the Corrs. This is a greatest hits collection from the Irish group that consists of three sisters and their brother. They are not real traditional sounding and prefer a more pop sound. The harmonies are beautiful and the CD includes guest appearances from Bono, the Chieftains and Ronnie Wood.
The Indie Spotlight CD is "The One Who's Leaving" from Americana artist Doug Spartz and Friends. This Americana CD includes a guest appearance from Tom Gillam and others.
We play new music from Kelly Willis, John Starling and Carolina Star, Mavis Staples, Sinead O'Connor, Jonathan Edwards and more.
We include music from Nanci Griffith, Doc Watson, the Greencards, Tom Rush, Phil Ochs and more.
We celebrate the birthdays of R&B artist Earl Gaines, Ginger Baker of Cream, and Billy J. Kramer. We remember blues great Blind Willie McTell and rockabilly artist Charlie Fethers on the anniversary of their deaths.
We also include music from Tab Benoit, who will be performing in March, 2008, at the St. John Blues Festival.
Doug Lewis Show is underwritten by Hook, Line and Sinker; Molly Molones; and St. Thomas Radiology Associates.
