July 28, 2007 – The Firearms Bureau of the Virgin Islands Police Department in the St. Thomas/St. John/Water Island district will be closed for administrative purposes from Friday, Aug. 3, through Wednesday, Aug. 8, according to a press release from the VIPD. The bureau will reopen and resume regular business hours (8 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday-Friday) at 8 a.m., on Thursday Aug. 9.
