Angel Luis Velazquez Rivera Dies at 70

July 3, 2007 – Angel Luis Velazquez Rivera, also known as “Tequi,” died on July 1, in Puerto Rico, at age 70.
He is survived by his mother, Genoveva Rivera Velazquez, sisters: Bienvenida Lopez, Luz D. Morales, Norma Blackwood, Sara Tramberg, Maria D. Oversen, Naomi Benitez, Rosita Laurent and Ana Iris Soto; and brothers: Roberto Velazquez, Calos Juan Velazquez, Zoilo Velazquez, Andre Velazquez and Ruben Velazquez. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and many other friends and relatives too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held from 9-10 a.m., on Friday, July 6, at La Iglesia de Dios Inc., Estate Profit. A funeral service will follow at 10 a.m. at the church. Interment will be at the Frederiksted Cemetery.
Professional funeral arrangements are entrusted to James Memorial Funeral Home Inc.
