June 21, 2007 – Florine E. Folkes of Bronx, N.Y. died on Wednesday, June 13, at Montefiore Medical Center. She was 65 years old.
She is survived by her children: Joleen Payne, Wayne Payne, Sandra Jarvis Ritter, Janice and Lamar Lenhardt; sisters: Maria Folkes James and Marilyn Folkes Abraham. Other survivors include grandchildren: Wayne Allick Jr., Masai Allick, Kendra Petersen, Sheynay Sarauw, Samuel Sarauw, Isaiah Ritter, and Etherlyn, Lenay, Eljo and Leroy Brooks, Wayne Payne Jr. and Journay Lenhardt; and four great grandchildren, as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will not be a viewing. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., on Wednesday, June 27, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Frederiksted. Interment follows at Kingshill Cemetery.
