Crucian Christmas Festival to Celebrate 55th Year

June 7, 2007 – Anyone who wants to be involved in making the 55th Anniversary of the Crucian Christmas Festival the best it can be should contact the festival office, according to a press release from the Executive Board of the Crucian Christmas Festival.
This year's theme is: "Culture, History and Tradition Remain on the Slate for Festival 2007 – 2008." Congratulations to Laurie Thomas-Jacobs for her winning submittal of the Festival theme.
The festival is looking for enthusiastic, dedicated volunteers to assist with the various committees and for participants in the shows and competitions such as: The Miss and Mr. St. Croix Pageant, ages 16 – 24; The Prince and Princess Pageant, ages 8 – 11; The Festival Duchess, ages 4 –6; The Calypso Monarch Competition – for participants and committee members; The Festival Boat Show and Races – for participants and committee members; and volunteers for judges and the Village committee.
