Brief: Police Connect Latest Smith Bay Shootings

June 6, 2007 — Two victims have now been linked to a single shooting incident that occurred early Wednesday morning in the Smith Bay area.
According to a Police news release, the incident, which occurred near Lake's Chicken Fry around 12.38 a.m., resulted in the death of Samuel Fahie, 46. Also injured at the time was an unidentified 32-year-old woman, who has been released from Schneider Regional Medical Center after receiving treatment for a gunshot wound to the shoulder.
The woman reported that the gunman was an unknown male with a T-shirt over his face. A firearm has been recovered from the scene of the shooting, which was reported to Police around 7:48 a.m.
