St. Croix Recycling Association to Hold Meeting

St. Croix Recycling Association to Hold Meeting
May 21, 2007 – Those who are interested in joining a grassroots effort to promote recycling are invited to attend a meeting of the St. Croix Recycling Association from 5:30-6:30 p.m., on Tuesday, June 5, at the Pearl B. Larsen School just east of Christiansted. Participants will be discussing membership recruitment and will continue working in their focus groups to develop project plans to pursue recycling and waste reduction/reuse opportunities. More than half of the garbage in our landfill is recyclable.
