Dear Source:
The Source recently reported on the status of last year's unsuccessful candidates for Governor. I found Foncie Donastorg's comments somewhat disturbing. He called Governor deJongh Jr.'s Administration "The Wicked Clan" and said he did not want to reveal too much about his current activities and future plans for fear deJongh may try to do him in. "DeJongh and the wicked clan may try to hurt me," Donastorg said. "They continue to attempt to destroy me."
I have my doubts as to the degree of concern that Governor deJongh has for Foncie. As Yogi Bera would say "This is deja vu all over again!" Roll back the film a year, take out "deJongh", and insert either "Prosser" or "the Senate Majority". In short, paraphrasing Shakespeare, "Me thinks the gentleman doth protest too much."
All said, I am quite pleased that the deJongh Administration will be elevating the attention of our government to improve mental health services in the Territory. Maybe Foncie can finally get some help for his acute case of paranoia.
