Chevron Caribbean Rewards Employees for Excellence

April 26 – Chevron Caribbean Inc. recognized its leading Texaco branded service station in the United States Virgin Islands, the Pollyberg Service Station, for its improved customer service performance, commitment and teamwork in meeting Chevron's Customer First Reward Program standards.
The employees of the station, Ashawn Nibbs, Nina Saturina and Naheem Walters, received a $1,000 check as a reward for their commitment and dedication to providing area customers with high quality services. According to the Mystery Shopper survey, customers indicated that the station's service quality had significantly improved compared to its 2005 and 2006 performance. The Pollyberg Service Station, which has been operating for the last six years in the U.S.V.I., managed to exceed the customers' satisfaction levels, not only in U.S.V.I., but also in the Caribbean region.
Algernon Cargill, retail district manager for Chevron in the U.S.V.I., explained, "Excellent customer service is the core of our commitment to service stations clients. The name "Customer First" is a continuous reminder that customers are our first priority and deserve outstanding service to not only satisfy but exceed their expectations". Cargill added that this philosophy has contributed to positioning Texaco as the number one brand in the minds and hearts of its customers.
