Pistarckle to Present Shakespeare and Renaissance Faire
Pistarckle Theater will have its first annual Shakespeare Festival followed by a Renaissance Faire from 2-8 p.m., on Friday, May 4, at Tillett Gardens.
The day begins with Pistarckle's first annual Shakespeare Festival Will be held from 2-5 p.m. Over 150 students island-wide will perform pieces from their favorite Shakespeare plays. Schools participating include Dober Elementary, V.I. Montessori, Ulla Miller, Antilles and the University of the Virgin Islands.
Then, beginning at 5 p.m., there will be a Renaissance Faire, with treasure hunts, games, fortune telling, Maypole dancing, the appearance of a village idiot, more scene demonstrations, a chance to make your own hat and much more.
