CBC Pre-Mother's Day Fishing Tournament Scheduled

April 17, 2007 – The annual pre-Mother's Day Fishing Tournament, hosted by the Committee for the Betterment of Carenage, will begin at 6 a.m., on Sunday, May 6, in Frenchtown and culminate at noon, at the bayside near Gustave Quetel Fishing Center. Late arrivals will be disqualified.
The prizes will be awarded to the female angler who snags the heaviest fish, the most fish by quantity and weight, and the most unusual fish. Best captain and youngest angler awards are also presented at a ceremony, which coincides with the Father's Day Weekend Celebration in Frenchtown.
Registration will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., on Saturday, May 5, at the Aubain Ball Park concession stand.
