Pettro Persephone Simon-Vigilalnt Dead at 69

April 12, 2007 — Pettro Persephonie "Steffie" Simon-Vigilalnt of St. Thomas died April 5. She was 69.
Survivors include her brothers, Alfred “Fred” Simon, Samuel “Isaiah” Simon and Devon “Locton” Simon; sisters Edith Simon, Yvonne Simon Gumbs and Elise “Luceta” Simon Battle; special niece Corine “Joan” Daniel; nieces and nephews Alicia Romu-John-Lewis, George A. Romu, Felicia Romu-Milliner, Elena Romu-Elliot, Genevieve West, Antonio Scatliffe, St. Clair Scatliffe, John D. Smith, Diana Smith, Bernadette George, Ruth Barry, Trevor George, Sandra Lynch, Dion Thomas, Cynthia Simon, Ted Simon, Teresia Simon, Timothy Simon, Natasha Simon, Norris Simon Jr., Sharon Simon-Prewitt, Shawn Simon, Shermel Simon, Stedroy Simon, Toya Simon, Anderson Charles, Deville Charles Jr., Curtis Charles, Theolinda Charles, Janice Charles, Rasbert Charles, Mario Simon, Latisha Simon-Kuar, Latreema Simon, Lucien Simon, Samuel Simon Jr., Sarrah Simon, Genevieve Simon, Lucien Simon, Glen Simon, Juniel Simon, Junior Simon, Maudlyn Peters-Harley, Persephonie Peters, Donald Peters Jr., Delma Peters, Ida Peters, Connie Peters-Warner, Jacqueline Peters-Udell and Dion Simon; 52 great nieces and nephews; 10 great great nieces and nephews; family and friends too numerous to mention; and many other friends and relatives.
A first viewing will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel, followed by a second viewing from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday at Shiloh 7th Day Adventist Church. The funeral will take place at 10 a.m. Friday at Shiloh 7th Day Adventist Church, followed by interment at Western Cemetery.
