Getting the Department of Education Working

Dear Source:
In regards to the DOE written by Nicole Roebuck Warner-I say "BRAVO!" …now let's get disassemble this dysfunctional system of delivery-which is really delivering very little to the children of our territory-and put in it's place a Team management model that focuses on the needs of our children and the front-line deliverers, our teachers, in both learning and development as whole and healthy human beings. God knows we need it- and now. I just hope that those in long-time positions, perhaps in the too many upper management positions that simply impede our goals for success, can be conscious enough to realize this and not "fight for things to remain the same". Please. Our children's and teachers needs must come first. Our children's future truly depends on a radical change in how our DOE is managed. If this Dept. was a business, they would have been out of business a very long time ago, because of it's utter failure in management.
