March 17, 2007 – The Agriculture and Food Fair of the Virgin Islands is accepting applications for the "2008 Vegetable Crop Farmer of the Year" competition. The registration deadline is April 30, 2007.
St. Croix crop farmers who are interested in having their farms judged are asked to contact Errol Chichester at the Department of Agriculture at 778-0998, ext. 238, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Judging of the farms will begin May 2007.
