Joseph A. Van Holten Dies at 34

March 2, 2007 – Joseph A. Van Holten, better known as "Stampy" or "Al," died on Feb. 26. He lived at the Bovoni Housing Community and was 34 years old.
He is survived by his mother, Sonja Van Holten; and sons: Tre Sean and Ta'Jean David. He is also survived by grandfather, McDonald Van Holten; brother, Brian Van Holten; and sisters: Gail, Sonia, Cherese, Sharline, Sybil and Carolyn Van Holten. Other survivors include aunts: Vincia and Christine Gibson, Lattie, Alicia, Wiela, Coreen and Charmaine Van Holten; uncles: David and Almando George, Sal Van Holten, and Calvert, Everton and Vernon Gibson; as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m., on Saturday, March 10, at Trinity Methodist Church, Bovoni. Interment will be at Western Cemetery No. 1.
All arrangements are by Davis Funeral Home, 774-1464.
