Brief: Police Arrest Minor in Estate Grove Place Shooting

Feb. 13, 2007 — St. Croix Police have arrested a 16-year-old male minor in connection with the Sunday shooting of a 23-year-old man at Lorraine Village in Estate Grove Place, according to a VIPD release.
Police reports indicate that the victim was visiting friends when he was approached by a black male, who shot him several times. The victim was taken to Juan F. Luis Hospital for treatment.
The minor, charged with first-degree assault and possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a crime, has been remanded to the Youth Rehabilitation Center.
