Feb. 10, 2007 – The Family Resource Center will host a free two-day local conference titled "Strengthening Families Initiative" for parents, social workers, counselors and service providers from 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m., on Thursday, Feb. 15 and Friday, Feb. 16, at Palms Court Harborview Hotel.
The conference will provide prevention intervention skills for families in the areas of family violence prevention, domestic violence, sexual assault, child sexual abuse, child physical abuse, neglect prevention, conflict resolution and more. It will include breakfast and lunch on both days.
