Lynelle I. Niles Earns Certification from NAHO

Oct. 10, 2006 – The National Association of Hearing Officials recently awarded Lynelle I. Niles with the National Certification and the professional designation as a Certified Hearing Official, during the annual conference held this year in North Dakota. Niles is the fourth person from the Virgin Islands to have achieved this professional designation.
Course requirements for NAHO certification ensure that individuals have a sound background in administrative law and hearing procedures. This program is dedicated to developing uniform standards of excellence and professionalism for hearing officials and administrative law judges across the country.
She is also designated as a certified mediator and a certified arbitrator, and is certified by the Federal Mediation Conciliation Services and Public Employee Relations Board. Niles holds a Bachelor of Science Degree and Masters in Human Resource Management.
A native Virgin Islander and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Navarro Niles, Niles is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.
