June 21, 2006 — The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority is advising its St. Croix customers in the areas of Salt River and Gentle Winds that there will be an electric service interruption on Thursday, June 22, from 9 a.m. to noon. Line personnel will be energizing a new three-phase line on Salt River Road in order to increase the load-carrying capacity and to prevent line loss in the area.
The motoring public is urged to obey all traffic directions and to use extreme caution when traveling in the area.
