Montessori School Will Hold Summer Read-a-Thon

June 1, 2006 – Virgin Islands Montessori School is going to hold a read-a- thon over the summer vacation to raise funds for the school's library. Students will be reading books and seeking pledges for every book that they read. In recognition for their participation, they will be treated to an afternoon aboard Coral World's Adventure Isle.
Prizes will be earned based on a combination of books read and money raised. The prizes include: ice cream cones at Udder Delite, a ticket to Market Square East Movie Theatre, individual pizza at Kokopelli's Café, a ticket to Atlantis submarine ride and a Nike watch.
The money raised by the read-a-thon will go towards purchasing books and other materials for the Montessori School Library.
Virgin Islands Montessori School is located at 6936 Vessup Lane, St. Thomas.
