E.A.S.T. Will Have Historic Tour of Magens Bay

May 17, 2006 – In celebration of Historic Preservation Month, The Environmental Association of St. Thomas/St. John has partnered with Virgin Islands Historic Preservation to sponsor a historic tour of Magens Bay. Come learn about the historical ruins and arboretum at Magens Bay from David Brewer, historic preservation senior archeologist, and Carlos Robles.
Participants will meet at 9 a.m., on Sunday, May 21, at Magens Bay (near shed No. 3) and are advised to wear comfortable shoes (preferably with close toes) and to bring water.
This is a free tour but donations are welcome. For more information, call 774-1837.
