May 16, – The delivery of a portion of the retirement checks for those in the Government Employees Retirement System will be delayed from May 15 to May 16, according to a press release from GERS.
GERS is awaiting the results of an investigation into the matter in order to determine the cause for the late delivery. It regrets any inconvenience that the delay in delivery may have caused.
Individuals who do not receive their checks by May 17 should call GERS'retiree payroll representative at 776-7703, ext. 4112.
