Donkey Races Need Volunteers

May 5, 2006 – Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow Emancipation Commemoration Committee will hold Donkey Races at Randall James Race Track on July 1. Volunteers are requested by the committee, as well as, jockeys to ride the donkeys, and sponsors for the races and the donkeys. Because there are not sufficient donkeys on St. Croix, they must be brought over from St. John.
Those interested in assisting with the plan to revive this great tradition, can contact Mary Moorhead at 277-7485 or ytt_fsted@hotmail.com.
