Women's Health Fair Held

May 4, 2006 – St. Thomas will commemorate Women's Health Day from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday, May 10, at Roy L. Schneider Hospital grounds. Women's health care providers, sororities, women's groups, and other organizations for women are encouraged to take part in Women's Health Fair Day next Wednesday and Thursday in St. Thomas and St. John. The event is sponsored by Schneider Regional Medical Center in conjunction with the Virgin Islands Commission on The Status of Women Health Committee.
"We welcome the involvement and participation of these groups in helping to make Women's Health Fair Day a success," said Rev. Toi A. Barbel, Health Chair for the Virgin Islands Commission on The Status of Women. "Tables are still available for women's organizations or any organization that deals with women's health," she said.
