Wet Fete 2006 Keeps Easter Party Flowing

April 18, 2006 — While the Easter weekend had a lot of activities taking place, some St. Croix residents were at the beautiful Hotel on the Cay enjoying Wet Fete 2006. The event, held on Sunday, more than lived up to its name.
Colin Hodge, CEO of Massive Production, held this event in celebration of his birthday and his 15th year in business. While the beachcombers enjoyed the warmth of the sun and the coolness of the water, partygoers also enjoyed music by the world famous Express Band and DJ Doghart. Hotel on the Cay, a wonderful hotel located on a little island by itself, had lots of food and drinks on hand for its numerous visitors.
The event provided entertainment for all ages, even including a limbo competition for the children. There was also the "Wet Fete" bikini contest, which featured the contestants dancing under the water for a first-place cash prize of $300. At the conclusion of the limbo and the bikini contest, partygoers continued to dance the night away to the sounds of the Express Band. With music, food, drinks, dancing, the beach and a little wet fun, partygoers couldn't ask for much more on their holiday weekend.
