What's Up Next on the Doug Lewis Show

April 10, 2006 – Tune into the Doug Lewis Show on WVGN 107.3 FM, Sunday, April 16, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. This Sunday we feature Ben Harper, the Hot Club of Coral Bay, Lucy Kaplansky, Dusty Springfield, Dion and more.
The Modern Music Feature CD is "Both Sides of the Gun," which is the new two-CD release from Ben Harper. He is an eclectic roots artist who mixes soul, blues, and roots rock with a touch of folk as well.
The Indie Spotlight CD is a local CD from the St. John group, Hot Club of Coral Bay, whose CD is titled "Hot Club of Coral Bay." They have a jazzy swing type sound with strong lead vocals by St. Johnian Laurie Keefe.
We include music from Jon Cleary, who played a bit at the Beach Bar in St. John on the final day of the Blues Festival celebration. We also include music from Hudson & the Hoo Doo Cats, who will be playing various venues in the Virgin Islands in the month of April.
We play new music from Swing Soniq that features former Guess Who member Greg Leskiew, the bluegrass duo Gibson Brothers, John Stewart and more.
We also include music from Robert Cray, Tommy Castro, Lucy Kaplansky, Keb Mo and more.
We celebrate the birthdays of zydeco great John Delafose, Dusty Springfield, and roots blues artist Colin Linden.

Tune in for a chance to win a CD release from zydeco band Nathan and the Zydeco Cha Chas, and the new blues release from the legendary Dion.
Doug Lewis Show is underwritten by Hook, Line, and Sinker, and Molly Molones.
