Baha'i Community Activities for April

Devotional Gatherings
April 10, 2006 – Devotional gatherings to say prayers and read from the "Writings of many Faiths" are held weekly on St. Thomas, St. John and St. Croix. All are warmly invited to attend and participate.
On St. Thomas, devotional gatherings and a potluck brunch will take place at 10 a.m. on Sunday, April 16, at Magens Bay Beach. Please call 776-7024 or 643-5059 for additional information.
On St. John, race unity devotional gatherings are held at 7:30 p.m., every Friday. Please call 776-6316 or 776-6254 for information and directions.

Children's Class
Children's classes, which focus on assisting children to develop spiritual qualities and virtues through stories, memorization, music, skits and crafts, are held at 10 a.m. until noon, on most Sundays, at Mafalie's Day Care on St. Thomas. This month the class will be held on April 16 and April 30. All children ages 6 and older are welcome to attend. For additional information, call Murielle Braure at 690-0093.

Exploring Spiritual Topics
If you would like to join an ongoing study group to explore such topics as the purpose of life, realizing one's potential, prayer, and life after death, please call Julie Armbruster at 998-6132.

Holy Day Commemorations
The St. Thomas Baha'i Community will commemorate the Festival of Ridvan at 6 p.m., on April 21 and 7:30 p.m., on April 28, at the Baha'i National Center. The Ridvan Festival commemorates the period of time when Baha'u'llah announced that He is the Messenger of God for this day. All are warmly welcome to attend.
