Caribbean Endemic Bird Festival Celebrated
The Society for the Conservation and Study of Caribbean Birds will celebrate the fifth edition of the Caribbean Endemic Bird Festival from April 22 to May 22. The purpose of the festival is to increase public awareness of the region's high endemism and rich bird life.
Submission of checklists and award of premiums (posters, stickers, and "Bird Buddy" wristbands) for "Birdwatching the Best Birds" is from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., on May 6, at the University of the Virgin Islands. The location will be announced at a later date.
