Democrats Hold Territorial Committee Meeting

April 7, 2006 – The next Democratic Territorial Committee Members meeting is scheduled for 5:30 p.m., on Tuesday, April 11, at the Curriculum Video Conference Center on St. Croix and at the Department of Education Video Center on St. Thomas.
The issues to be discussed include: the party platform, party convention, party finance, election reform, a salary increase for the office of governor and lieutenant governor, and candidates fees for running under the party banner.
The national political director for the Northeast Region of the DNC, Art De Coursey, will be in the Virgin Islands on April 11 and 12, to work with the party to establish a state democratic partnership funding plan, according to a press release from the V.I. Democratic Party.
