New Port Will Put Stress on an Overcrowded Dock

Dear Source:
While I applaud the opening of the Enighed Pond Commercial Port, I wish to express my concern on a related issue. The Westin is making noise about restricting access to the Great Cruz Bay waterfront. If access is no longer available, the people who keep their boats in Great Cruz Bay will be forced to dinghy back and forth to town. With the port now opening and barges coming and going, people taking their dinghies to and from town will be faced with avoiding barges and their wakes. In addition, more stress will be placed on the town's already overcrowded dock. Mr. Davis, I do hope you make it work because I am concerned for the safety of my friends and their families.
